Safe load for New Vaquero 45lc
Looking for any info for the New Model Vaquero in 45lc. Is it somewhere between the Colt SAA and the Blackhawk. I am loading 250 gr lead.
Thanks

The new Vaquero WILL NOT withstand heavy Ruger loads so I would load to the max. Colt SAA loads w/ confidence. A 250gr LSWC o/ 10gr of Unique would be right @ 1000fps.

The Ruger Blackhawk chamber walls are between .069" and .073" to the outside.
The Uberti Cattleman chamber walls are between .059" and .063" to the outside.

The Ruger Blackhawk chamber walls are between .059" and .060". between chambers.
The Uberti Cattleman chamber walls are between .046" and .047".

I run the Blackhawk at 30 kpsi.
I run the Cattleman at 23kpsi. [24 gr H110 250 gr 1215 fps].

How thick are your chamber walls, to the outside and between chambers?
