Do we need a bullet trading board?
I have some old WW open point expanding bullets, some old 300 gr. Barnes in gold shiny boxes, and other old discontinued bullet, over loaded on some bullets, stuff that reloaders in some cases like, I know I do, and I would like some older nosler solid base bullets for instance..

Is anyone else interested in such, if so maybe Saeed would frame it for us..

or is it just me? rotflmo

I really liked the Nosler Solid Base in my 300 Win, shot well and good performance.

It's nice to see there are a few other 'pack rats' here. I have several batches of old, long discontinued or somewhat historical bullets - projectiles, not cartridges - in the cabinets here, like: a few boxes of early 100 gr .257" Sierra bullets marked "Manufactured by Harris Machine Co Rivera Cal"; some early RWS 9,3mm 286 gr big blue nose in boxes where each bullet is in a separate compartment; a couple of 25 count boxes of UMC manufactured bullets marked "8 M-M 236 gr Soft Point Bullets for Mannlicher Rifles" that are .318" diameter and obviously intended for 1888 commission rifles, not Mannlicher-Schoenauer rifles; a smattering of old Remingtons and Winchesters for .303 rifles and undoubtedly more stuck in the back corners.

Cartridges are collectable, why not stuff like this?

Great idea Ray.

Could go something like this:

I have: 400 450gr Barnes TSX .458

I want: 200 and 225gr .358 or cash!

Ah, right, that part is a great idea indeed!

F'rinstance, I have piles of Woodleigh .358" 225 gr round nose bullets I'm not going to use.

And I'd LOVE to get my hands on some Speer .257" 70 gr flat point 25-20 bullets!

Ray,
If you have any 46 grain OPE bullets for the 218 Bee, I have a lot of trading stock.....PM me if you want to trade.

We already have one; it's called the Classifieds.

Yes we need a ammo trade, reloading trade and bullet trade .I also want a book trade .I guess a gun trade would be nice and trade hunts would be totally awesome !

Maybe just a "traders cornor", cash deals frowned upon..Trading guns is more fun than sex, well at my age anyway!!

Steve,
I don't have any .257 bullets but I do have a bunch of 45 Colt lead (forget the weight but will forward once I return home on Monday if interested)
Also have copious .223 in may weights.
Many more...

Your "Woodleigh .358" 225" are an expensive proposition. But I am sure worth it as they would make a good 38-55 hunting round

Vapodog,
Hornady maks a 22 bullet called "the Bee" and its the most accurate bullet Ive used in the Hornet, the 222, 223 and it will take a Rock Chuck apart..It was originally designed for the 218 Bee an its still in production. Ihave a number of boxes..I only remember OPE Western bullets in 25, 270, .284 and 30 caliber just off hand. I picked them up for almost nothing at a local gun show..Nobody knew what they were, they were the first 100 gr. bullet for the 250-3000..Western open point expanding bullet..
