My 6.5x55mm likes the Hornady 129gr. Interlok best for accuracy, followed by the Nosler 120gr. Ballistic Tip. At 6.5-06/.264 Mag speeds my two favorites are the 140gr. Nosler Partition and the 156gr. Norma Oryx. Hell, with a .264 and the Normas, I'd hunt just about anything shy of big bears...

No such luck yet, the 6.5 WSM is still a wildcat. I would be undecided between a 6.5 WSSM (approaching 6.5-06 velocities) or a 6.5 WSM (approaching .264 Mag velocities). Let's hope Winchester decides to fill the 6.5 gap in the lineup.

I am curious -- how did you end up with a 6.5 WSM? I did not know it was a commercial round and have been hoping Winchester would develop one.
