CookselkKorean PS 30-06 brass--is it good brass for reloading?
I have a couple of cans of the Korean PS (non-Corrosive) brass and was wondering if anyone has had any experience reloading it. Is it worthwhile or should I stick to commercial or LC brass. Just hate the Idea of tossing it since I have nearly 1000 pieces.

JacobiteI never reloaded the PS brass but the Korean KA brass reloads nice.

vapodogAs long as it's boxer primed it should be fine.....try it and see for yourself.

hm1996About 10 years ago I purchased quite a lot of Korean M2 ball ammo that was advertised to be reloadable. It was boxer primed, as advertised, but the primer pockets were a few thousandths oversized so that standard primers would fall out.
If your brass will hold a primer, should be reloadable.

Paul BA friend gave me almost 1,000 rounds of once fired PS brass. Once the primers were knocked out and the primer crimp removed, I converted some of it to .35 Whelen by annealling the necks and then running them through the resizing die. They've worked pretty good for me so far.
The stuff is kind of grungy looking, but a few hours in a tumbler takes care of that problem. Seems to be good brass to me.
I did read on another site where someone had problems with necks splitting. You might want to anneal them before resizing them. The necks might already be work hardened.

CookselkThanks guys, I saved the brass for later reloading. What my original motive was whther or not I should toss the brass in the recycle bin. I cashed in my heaping full 6 gallon bucket of brass at the recycler. 79#=$86.97. Woo-Hoo gas money!!! Just wish I had been saving all that 308 brass from my FAL, there sure was alot of it over the years.
