Bill,

Parker Ackley wasn't alive when the 260 Remington was designed. Therefore, there can't be a 260 Ackley Improved.

Perhaps you are loading an improved version using someone else's design ?

Duane Spooner's .257 DGS is an improved form of .260 necked to .257. His loads should be acceptable as start charges. He posts here; perhaps he'll see this and respond.
