AR-10 260 Remington
Have a AR-10 Armalite-22" bbl-SS Bull bbl config.-1:8" twist.Am starting to develope accuracy loads for rifle using 139-142 gr bullets.I have the following powders-4064,4350,4831,RL19 and N150. Can anyone suggest a powder that I may try first to test for accuracy.Thanks for help

My bolt action 260s both like either H4831 or R19 with 129-140 gr bullets. I`d start there

My M700VLS really likes IMR4350 best with the 140/142 bullets: sub-0.6 moa for 5-shot groups.

i use 4831 in my ar 260, it works welll, but i use it mostly cause i'
ve got 50# or so. my choice would probably be 4350 or maybe h414

I think AR10 platforms are designed around medium fast powders like RL15, Varget, 4895 etc... Too slow powder may cause excessive port pressures and lead to short brass life and functioning issues.

Recall, they were designed around the 7.62x51 military loadings.
