BoCash3Belding and Mull Powder Disp. Help ?
Hi,
I have reloaded since 1969 and mostly used RCBS powder dispensers.
I bought out a guy's excess reloading stuff and asked him for the Belding and Mull dispenser, reason being I had heard good things.
Now, I have the dispenser mounted and there are two drop tubes. BUT........... there appears to be no way to lock the drop tube on to the dispenser or get a measured charge afterwards without having to hold the drop tube in one hand and physically dump the charge from the tube into a funneled cartridge with one hand.
Is this the way this thing works?
If so, I may sell it because I want the dispenser to drop powder straight into the cartridge mouth. THANKS.

ca_reloaderYou basically have it. The B&M is not designed to drop a charge directly in the case. You adjust the drop tube for the correct weight and transfer the charge to the case.

ArcticYou got it, .....that's the way they work, so when you decide that only an idiot would want it, drop me an email or PM! ~Arctic~

craigsterBo,
Sell it and the RCBS and get yourself a Redding. You'll wish you'd done it a long time ago, I know I did.

rcastoI would be somewhat interested in purchasing your B&M measure if it isn't what you want.
Let me know.

BoCash3Thanks guys....... and especially Craigster.
While I have used the RCBS, It sometimes is hard to work when running fine H ball powder through it and wants to jamb..... like H-380. It gets sticky and gummed up.
I may just do the Redding if it is a step up.
I know this is not the classifieds but the Belding and Mull will not work for my situation. In the deal where I bought that measure, I allowed the guy $75 for it. If willing to pay $5 priority, it is sold to the first person that responds and commits for $80. I have already had two emails inquiring about a price, so if this is a fair, please respond quickly. I would say that the measure is in 90% condition finish-wise, lever/spring is tight and operates well, hopper is pretty clear and has the lid, and the two drop tubes with all adjustment screws..... all appears to be there. If not accurately described, refund minus shipping. THANKS. "Bo" Cash
