I don't know JSP. I trust to Swift A-Frames in different calibers, so I suggest to give it a chance in .357.

I had some of the Swift A Frame bullets a while back, they shot fairly decent, around here they were expensive.
I believe the only one that ever made and sold 180 gr JSP bullets was Remington.

My quest goes on.

Are these for rifle or pistol? The reason I ask is that I have a bunch of 185gr. psp. That can be had. oldroger beer

Thanks but they are a revolver. Did you ever find those .357 Gold Dot Soft Point 170 gr bullets that you were checking on for me?

No sure what profile you're looking for but Hornady, Nosler, Speer, Sierra and Lapua and a couple others make 180 gr 35 cal bullets plus you can find people that swage jacketed 35 cal bullets not to mention all the lead and coated ones Like Berry's.

Midway has many to choose from.

I was thinking you were moving last year or something and didn't have access to boxes but you said you had some Speer .357 170 gr Gold Dot Softpoint. I was pretty sure it was you but I could have mixed you up.

Reference the above list...I've used several of the bullets from several of the brands in several pistols and rifle/leverguns...and some half jacketed swaged I did myself from 125 to 200+. Some like the silhouette style are almost like FMJ's, some like the Partitions work just great even at low speeds.

Just looking for 180 gr .357 jacketed soft point pistol bullets, no rifle bullets, lead or coated bullets. If I can't find any of the factory bullets for reloading I'll just use some of my cast bullets or something as I don't want the extra expense of custom swaged jacketed bullets.

Thanks vlwtx348
I have some of the Sierra 180 gr match bullets already. I think I am out of luck as the only manufacturer I knew of was Remington and the don't make them for the public anymore, I'm not sure they even offer them in loaded ammo either.

AFAIK Remington only produced the 180 grain JHP with a lot of exposed lead. It acted like a Partition in my test, big ol exposed lead HP nose expanded, sheared off and a 158 grain JFP bull went on.
Hornady makes a 180 grain XTP, 003 35771. Midsouth Shooters Supply where I buy most of my supplies are listed as, "Out of Stock" as of today 1/13/18, you might try Midway. Same deal at midway, OoS, OVERDUE.

I've got quite a bit of Jamison .357 Maximum ammo but don't know who manufactured the bullets. I guess I need to figure it out.

I would appreciate that vlwtx, I used the last of my 180 gr JSP bullets about 10 years ago and Remington doesn't make them any more. I picked up two boxes at a Gun Show when I was stationed in MD in the early 90's

I have a few hundred 180gr .357 Nosler Partitions MPN: 35180 if you're interested. Might fit your application.

I have quite a few 180 gr JHP's but I'll keep you in mind, I like the way those are made.
