Paul OwensRamshot powder
How do you guys that have used it like it?
I know where a gun store that has plenty of the Zip,True Blue and ENFORCER.They also have 2 pounds of the Magnum.I've tried the Zip in 38 spl.ammo and thought it shot good.I just wanted to know what you guys thought about the others.I have a pound of the IMR 7828 and thought about buying a pound of the Magnum for my 7mm mag and 300win.mag.
I seen a 8 pound can of Varget on Gun brokers selling for over $600,these prices are crazy!! So I thought I would give the Ramshot powder a try.

Dave BushI agree with Vapodog and plainsman. I first tried Big Game in my 9.3X62 and I think it's good stuff. I now have and eight pounder of TAC that I picked up for someone else but couldn't get it delivered. I plan on picking up and eight pounder of Big Game and Hunter as well.
The nice thing about Ramshot powder is that it really makes your loading simple. If you have a supply of TAC, Big Game, Hunter, and Magnum, you can load a really broad array of rifle calibers with only those four powders.

Do you need any TAC? I picked up and eight pounder for Jeff but then we found out you can't ship smokeless powder by UPS unless you have a special permit. I don't shoot much TAC. Mostly Big Game and Hunter.

doubledownI use Ramshot TAC, its a great powder with a wide range of uses, Its my main powder for .308s and my .458 lott. Its supposed to be a great .223 powder but I can't say from experience.

Paul OwensI just picked up a 1 pound can of Tac yesterday.I thought I would give it a try in my 22-250.The gun store I bought it from has plenty of Ramshot pistol powders, and 2,1 pound cans of Magnum.I just wished they had primers!!

muzzle223We use Tac with all of our .223s in high power competition. It is exceptional pushing the 77gr Sierra's.

Steve LathamA friend of mine was lucky enough to drop on a couple case loads/cartons of Ramshot Magnum, I've bought some six pounds of it from him at a very nice price, I'm presently happy with it in my .270, & am working up the loadings for 7mm WSM
