Has any body tried theforster bench rest dies for short, fat cartridges? If so what were the results? I'm using rcbs now but always looking foran edge.

The only one they're making for the WSM that I know of is in the 300 WSM. and haven't talked to anyone using them yet. I've got the Ultra-seater for my 220 Swift and 25-06 and really like them.

I have been using the Forester Ultra Seater for my 300wsm since last summer and I have to say that I love it. I used a RCBS for the first few months but the Forester seems to seat bullets more concentric than the RCBS. I dont have a whole bunch of experience but I also like the easy adjustments, I usually will seat a bullet .005 long then it just takes one quick adjustment and all my rounds are within .001 oal. Just bought one for my 270 also.
