Rusty, the information I have is 3.490". I would just make sure that after firing the case mouth is straight ie. no "crimp" left, and that a bullet will enter the case mouth.

It's 3.490 but most are actually longer if you take a chamber cast..I don't think the double cartridges really ever need trimming as the pressure is so low as to not move much brass...

One does need them all the same length if he intends to crimp..I use a file trim die with all double cartridges and rounds that I intend to crimp as its so much more accurate than the rotary jobs...I crimp double rounds very very lightly...

Actually not much reason to crimp them especially if your sizer button is about .004 undersize as mine are and if you use a full case of powder or powder with a good filler....Hmmm, I got a little off the subject, poop happens!
