375 Wby barrel length
I just picked up a new rifle in 375 Wby and it has a 26 inch long barrel. I am thinking of cutting it back to 23.
What type of velocity loss would you estimate?

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

That's interesting. Who's making new rifles in 375 Weatherby?

This is a custom rifle I found in a local shop on consignment. Built on a Dakota 76 action.

Quickload's estimate comes in from 50-80 fps, depending on the powder, based on using 300g Nosler Partitions.

If you have specific components in mind, I'll run them thru for you.....
