MarkH375 H+H case life
Hi Guys
How many times would you reload a 375 case with full power loads before you discarded it?
2-3 times or more?

FjoldI have a bag of Remington brass that I've loaded 6 times so far. The primer pockets are still tight, I haven't had to trim them and haven't cracked any yet.

BriceI've had case head separation on the third reload with Winchester brass, normal hunting loads, seated .010 off lands, cases partial FL sized.

GerryI'm with Frank, haven't had any issues with .375H&H brass. Actually, in both my .375H&H and 7mm Rem. Mag. (my only "Belted" cartridges) the cases have all provided good useful case life and easy loading despite the Doom & Gloom heresay of issues with belted cartridges; I just haven't experineced problems.
I've got about 300 PMP & Federal cases, a mixture of brass & nickled cases; all started life as factory ammunition, some have been loaded 5,6,7 times - all with full-throttle hunting loads.
They get a good inspection, a tumbling, are F/L sized and trimmed (more an anal control thing than actually cutting brass off) in Die Sets adjusted to the chamber/brass after initially firing. Never lost a case nor had an issue with either cartridge - yet.
I keep pretty good records of the cases loading history and won't start binning them until I notice the need to; either case separation indications or loose primer pockets.

RatltrapI've got 100 Remington cases that have seen 5 reloads (some now 6) w/ no issues yet.

mstarlingI've used Remington brass with good success. However, I do check the length every time and trimming seems to be required for at least one of my two .375 H&H rifles.

safari_hunterI get 10 reloads using Winchester brass. The loads used were 76 gr Win 760 behind a 300 gr Taipan. Primer pockets were still tight but a few cases showed early signs of case seperation.
If your using bullets that need to be crimped, you will need to anneal after the 3-4 reload so you don't get split necks.
