Best Powder fo .204 Ruger?
This is the first time I'm going sub-.224 and am interested in what other folks are using. I'm looking for something that meters easily (like W748) and fills the case without compression. Accuracy, however, is the most important. Can anyone give me an idea with which powder to start?

BL-C(2) or H-335 are the picks I'd go with.

Col K , check out the data at this site, and you should be able to make a choice .

I also favor the ball powders , or a powder with very fine kernels like H322 for the sub-bores . I am using quite a bit of Ramshot TAC , but I am sure something like 748 or BlC2 would also work good . Some favor H4895 , but it's a little tougher to pour down the case neck .

The 204 is not all that fussy , there are many medium burning powders that will turn up good results .

H-322 although my preference is RL-15 it does not meter as well.

I've tried at least a half dozen powders so far. Best results from 748.
