RCBS Big Max Press Opinions
For all of you who have had this press
or use it now:

What are your opinions on this press?
(good, bad, best press ever made,
too &#%@*$ heavy, etc...)

I got one, sold it,(without using it) and
now have the opportunity to purchase another
one. That's why I need opinions...

Thanks for reading this post, comments are
very much appreciated!

Bought one when they first came out and have been using it ever since, for heavy loading. Love it for that kind of stuff.

But for regular loading I rely more upon the Rock Chucker.

I have a Big Max press and would not trade it for any other press I have ever seen.

I load about 5 or 6 thousand rounds a year and have for a long time. This press just keeps on working.

If you can get another Big Max press, get it.

Got it!

I am now the proud owner of an excellent
condition RCBS Big Max press! I was comparing
all the dimensions with my Rock Chucker and
my JR, and this thing is massive! I can't wait
to try it out. Thanks, guys...

I think the Big Max is one of the best presses EVER made. Why RCBS discontinued it is beyond me. I wish they would reintroduce it. I would buy one in a heartbeat. Bill T.

I think that RCBS discontinued the Big Max
because it was kinda like a pre-64 Winchester.
Great, but too darn expensive to manufacture
for a profit. I agree with you, it is a GREAT
press...
