Alex.Y: I bought a Redding three die set of 338/378 Weatherby dies a year or so ago. They were used but like new and the reason I bought them was for re-sale (profit) purposes.
I see them at sport shops in the western United States all the time.
They are pricey but available
I have two friends that use this caliber and handload for it.
They have no trouble finding any components for this caliber (including brass).
By the way I have seen one of my friends harvest a very nice 7x7 Bull Elk with one shot from his 338/378 Weatherby.
I even contemplated buying a Rifle in 338/378 Weatherby, but then I remembered I am recoil sensitive (recoil shy! - fraidey cat! - sissy! etc etc etc).
This caliber does not recoil so much as it SMASHES the shooter!
One of my friends has a muzzle brake on his Rifle and once he fired it with me standing 5 or 6 feet behind him as I was spotting game for him - I was deafened for the rest of that day!
Best of luck if you are contemplating getting a 338/378 Rifle.

VarmintGuy,

I wouldnt get one but a mate of mine has just swapped his 338 TRG
for one, he has already got a 300 weatherby and a 416 rigby so hes not too worried about the recoil factor.

it dosent sound too popular here in the uk, i do know he will need brass for it though.
