Lapua .243 or .308 brass for .260 Rem
I'm building a .260 and, after using Lapua brass for my 6/284, want to use Lapua brass for my .260. Which would be better, necking up the .243 (something about a donut) or necking down the .308? What's the pros and cons of each?

I just started a poll last night and there is a strong following for Lapua 243 and then 7mm-08.

The poll shows just to buy 260 brass so far.

I just read the poll and I'm going with the Norma brass.

I prefer necking Remington URBR brass down to 6.5

I load for a 260ai & use the 243Lapu brass. Works fine. I had problems necking down 308. I had to use a 7-08 die first, then to 6.5 then had to ream. I see no real advantage unless your chmaber is a bit sloppy. Mine seems a bit tight. The std. RP 260brass works fine, just cull by wt. Using 7-08 brass is also a good option, just size & shoot.
