300 Weatherby data
Does anyone have any data for the 300 Weatherby with Barnes 180 TSX and RL22? There is a tiny bit on the Barnes site, but not for the powders I have on hand. Any and all help/directions/comments are greatly appreciated, trying to get this load worked up before the end of October

As an aside, I just tried working up a load for a friend's 300 Wby with RL22, IMR 7828, and IMR4831. None would shoot very well. He wouldn't let me try a different bullet weight so I'm now loading 180 Accubonds for him.

Good luck. It's great cartridge. He's used his on everything from moose to coyotes.

LWD....don't know if it will work for your buddy's 300 wby but I had a terrifically fussy ultralight. Was about to trade it and gave a shot to retumbo. All of a sudden it shot less than moa with the 180 tsx. Try working up to about 88.0 if you have access to any. It also shot good with the 200 ab.

Kraky-

Thank you for the tip. This has been a frustrating experience for sure. I've been extolling the virtues of the TSX to my buddy including how accurate they are but a box and half later still nothing!

It's been frustrating too since on 2 of my 3 guns that I have loaded them for, the first bullet weight and powder produced sub-1/2" groups! I have had to do very little to get them to shoot in my guns.

The local shop stocks Retumbo so I will get some and try it.
