I am thinking of trying to load up some 300 wm utilizing 190gn berger vld's.

My rifle (rem700 xcr, 26 in tube) has a 1 in 10 twist, the berger website recomends a 1 in 12 twist or faster.

Can this be done or is this the wrong rifle for this bullet? I would prolly use rl22 or h4831sc as a test bed powder.
I am wondering if the 1 in 10 twist barrel will stabilize the 190gn vld
