model7LSSRemington .308 Factory Load Problem
I pulled some Remington .308 Win 180gr SP loads out of the closet today to take to shoot up. I have had these rounds for quite some time, dont remember how long, but they are in the old packaging. Anyway, I pulled a round out and happened to look it over and noticed a minute 1/2" crack in the case running for the mouth through the shoulder. The bullets could be removed with my fingers. Looked at the rest of the rounds and found 2 more for a total of 3. All the others look fine. I plan on contacting Remington on Monday to notify them, though I doubt it is relevant since these are old. Anyone experienced anything like this? For reference these are Rem. Item # R308W2 and i believe the lot code to be 1-A

armadilloHow old is it? I have some 80-90 year old collectable stuff and the necks have cracked on some of them.
