I can buy.

I just bought (off of Gunbroker) 5000 Eldorado/PMC (made in Russia) .217" primers for just under US$125.ºº delivered. I haven't been able to locate any .254" except CBC shotshell primers, which are unsuitable for even mild rifle pressures.

Seriously....here in the USofA they are almost worthless.....no one (to very few folks) use them.

Buy all you can.

A lot of surplus .308 ammo here in the states comes Berdan Primed. Johannsen Jagd and Triebel sell hydraulic Berdan decappers. You can get Berdan primed and once fired brass for free (or less). Hirtenberg and Radway Green brass is pretty decent.

Berdan primers are only needed if you have a supply of old Kynoch or RWS brass (like me with .404 Jeffery) then they are worth whatever the traffic will bear. Thank the Lord for new manufacture .404 brass with Boxer primers!!!!!

I see them occasionally at gun shows, anywhere from 3-6 bucks per 100.
