I need the same thing. Mine is built on a Win 70 classic action with a 26" Pac-Nor Super Grade, #4 Contour,,recessed crown.

I need a starting load for a Barnes 100 grain XLC boat tail. I had printed it off once before and lost my piece of paper dadgummit.

I remember IMR 7828 but not the starting charge.

I have had very good luck with the 117 Sierra SBT behind 72 grains of RL-25. Velocity is in the neighborhood of 3350fps in a Weatherby Accumark, depending on ambient temperature. Accuracy is 2.5" for three shot groups at 400 yards when I do my part. Have cases that have been fired 7 times and primer pockets are still tight. I have tried 115 Ballistic Tips and 115 Partitions but the Sierras have proven the most accurate.7828 and RL-22 powdwers work pretty well but RL-25 performs best in my rifle. Hope this helps guys. The 257 is one sweet cartridge.

I load a 110 gr. Berger Moly bullet and a 115 gr. Nosler Ballistictip with 77 gr. H-1000 and get cloverleafs at 100 yards, when I have a good day behind the trigger. My hunting bullet is a 115gr. or 120 gr. Nosler Partition. I use 70 gr. RL-22 and get an ave. fps. of 3500, not one holers but close. Good shooting.

70gr of R22 in front of 115gr Ballistic Tip or 67 gr of IMR 7828 and Sierria 117gr work real well from Weatherby's Ultra Light with 26" bbl.
