vapodogthere's only one good load and that's the one worked up by the owner for his particular gun.
May I suggest starting with RL-22 or IMR-7828 in that cartridge.

DavidReedGet the Nosler loading manual. They have more than enough combinations for you to try in your rifle. My personal favorite is using H4831 with the 200 gr. Partition. 2950 fps is no problem in my rifle but I back it off to about 2850 to add a little breathing room under the pressure limit.

grizz007Hector,
My 5th Edition Noslers reloading manual for the .300 H&H with a 200 Partition using RL22 starts with 63.0 grains and a max. of 67.0 grains
vapo is correct, asking any of us for our load data that would be fine in your rifle is not cool at all. start with Noslers low and work up a load that delivers the accuracies you will accept. Buy a chrony and a manual.
good shooting.

In my Remington 721 @ 2800 fps with 200-grain SPEERs, 70 grains H4831 SC and Federal primers in WW brass, the load is probably hot. Use a chrony and reduce the powder by 10% / work up / etc.
Got a kudu at 200 yards with it.

butchloci like H4831, but as a point of interest - every 300 mag i've ever had shot the 200 gr partition really well. most of the time it was of the best grouping bullets

Hctor Carlos RovedaThanks to all.
Really appreciattes yours oppinions.
I know (because I reload all my cartridges from 1982 to the present) what important are the development of one load with the own rifle but, with this bullet I have several problems of concentricity / velocity in the range.
Maybe the barrel of the gun, maybe the relation of the reload (primer, bullet, powder, cases, O.A.L) or maybe only one of the components.
I will be treat wit H4831 (never used this powder in this caliber) and other time with 7828 and R 22 (I reload with both powders the 300 H&H in the past).
Well, this problems conform the beautiful things of the art of reload.
I'm sorry for my bud English.
Best Regards to all.

sierra2I'm another 4831 user, H4831SC to be exact. Have only gone to 67.0 grains of H4831SC behind the 200 grain Nosler Partition, but my Steyr Model S shoots into a half inch at 100 yards with 66.0 thru 67.0 grains H4831SC. Most accurate .30 caliber I own.
