What software do you guys use for determining interior and exterior ballistics? I have heard about Quickload/QuickTarget but don't have any experience with them. Thanks for the assistance.

For exterior the free PointBlank at www.huntingnut.com is very good.



The more I look at interior balistic programs the less I trust them. It's what happens in the individual gun with the specific components that counts.



There is freeware around with the Powley formula. That's more reliable than most anyway.



I have a bunch now that I paid for and the more I use them the more errors that I find.



Use published data and work up.
