9.3x62?
I just bought a CZ 550 FS from Idaho Sharpshooter. I have my dies. I bought some RL15. I have 250 Accubonds, 285 PRVI and 285 NPs. Anyone have any recipes for what I have.

BFaucett's data is better than anything I can find.....I got data for RL-15 for my .35 Whelen from Nosler's data and they don't show RL-15 for the 9.3 X 62.....and the one thing that really frustrates me about Alliant is that they don't have a lot of data like Hodgdon does!

Start at 59 grains and see where it goes....That's where my Whelen is with the 250 AB and your 9.3 should be able to do more!

Thanks BOB and Vapo. I started off with 60 on the Accubonds. I'll see how they do.

I have passed on a fair bit of info to others on this forum & on other sites. I have some bullet test info as well as I was involved a bit in a project a couple of years ago. Send me a PM with your email & I'll email you about 10 to 15MB of info & articles including the above ones.

You going to use it primarily on Truck Springs?

The Sako factory ammunition loads are all awesome. Even better; they publish them.

Go to sako.fi

Their loads all feature VV N-140 powder.

Use their specified load for a 250 grain bullet behind Nosler Accubonds.

Use their specified load for 286-grain bullets for the Nosler Partition.

Those loads just flat-ass work!

Just do a "find" under 9.3x62 and you will be up to you arm pits in data. The 9.3x62 is very forgiving. It will work with about 8 or 9 different med. burning powders. Have had best luck with Re 15-Vargent-IMR4064-IMR4320- both 4895. The most accurate bullets I have tried in my 550Cz are Speer 270 and Prvi 285 but you shound not use them because they don't cost $1.25 each and are not marked "PREMIUM".

I have come to have a lot of respect for Fat_Albert's posts as they are always worth reading.

This one is in line with his other offerings! tu2

I have a few hundred of the 286 PRVI bullets. I did try 60gr of R15 with 250 Accubond. It shoots pretty well. I'll chrony them after hunting season and start working on load development for them and the PRVI.

Am not an accuracy freek ... so I quite load development at 58 gr RL-15 on Norma or Graf cases with 286 gr Partitions. Makes a little less than 1 MOA groups. Right at 2425 fps.

Gone to Africa twice with it and hunted piggies and deer ... works GREAT! Almost always DRT hits.
