Keep in mind the CZ here is a light weight hunting rifle and not a varmint rifle.
Conclusion so far: the 34gr HP from Mid South looks to be a reasonably accurate, ecconomical[7 cents each] varmint bullet in the rifles they were tested in, and as seen in the 22-250 hold togrther at 4100fps. out to 300 yds and beyond. NOT TOO SHABBY

Ol` JoeI`m not familar with the bullet you are useing. Does it appear to be a name bullet that Midsouth has repackaged? Or is it one of their own design?

2ndtimerThanks for the link, Roger. How stubby is that 34 gr bullet? Have you shot any critters with it yet? Hoping for a decent "red mist" factor.
I too, much appreciate your test reports, especially since I am also a fan of "bastard powders" in bulk and love bargains, especially when they work as well (or better) than the more conventional expensive options.

Bullets are pretty worthless. All they do is hang around waiting to get loaded.

The 34gr. fbhp has a nice ogive. a Rem. psp 50 gr. with close to the same ogive length measures .634" the 34 gr. measures .510". It seems to fly surprisingly flat.
I probably have more bullets than I will be able to shoot in the remainder of my life but I still bought a fair quantity of these 34 grainers.
I'm not adverse to killing but I haven't done it in some time except for big fish.

Nightmare is right.
Those exposed lead tips contaminated my moly coating process.
But the bullets were accurate and cheap.
