First batch will test 52gr Bergers, FED GM210M primers and Varget.
I'm starting at 29.0 grains. I loaded 10 each in .5gr increments up to 33gr.
Sound OK?
If there's one thing I wish I'd done years ago, LDO, it's the switch I recently made from 3-shot groups to 5-shot groups. Not that 3-shot groups are worthless, but when you find a bullet and load with which you can repeatedly shoot a good 5-shot group, then you've got something of which to be proud.
One other tip: When working up a new load, use your watch or some other timer to force yourself to wait a certain number of minutes between shots in order to keep the barrel from heating too much. I try to wait at least two minutes or longer between shots. After I've developed a pet load, I'll rapid fire a few strings to see if/where the POI shifts, but when developing the load I don't want my barrel too hot. Just my 2 cents worth.
You're using a top-shelf barrel and components, so I'm betting you'll get good to great results right from the start. Let us know how it went, OK?
