RustySR4759,
If you want to get rid of the POS Lee Classic Cast Press, I'll pay for the shipping. If you will give me your email addy, I'll email you a prepaid FedEx Label. Just send it to me. Then you can go get a press you really want.

Hi Rusty,
The first press broke a link while swaging bullets.
The second press bent the handle while FL sizing 50 BMG brass.
While the presses we use are trouble free in normal operation sometimes the extreme operations are a bit much- regardless of what the marketeers may claim.

Lamari thought ripping my rock chucker right off the bench was a bit much....

FjoldI must be doing something wrong, I'm still loading on my Lee three hole, turret press that I bought in 1981. Of course it's just used for light calibers like my 458 Win mag.

Internet BS.
RCBS presses & almost everything else except electronic stuff is made in the USA:

At one time while going through some short period changes, RCBS did have some items manufactured in China - not being happy with their workmanship they decided to manufacture all of their products back in the US.
All foundry work is manufactured in Lodi, CA & the rest of the parts are machined in House. All new Presses are heavy duty Cast Iron, Chrome Moly Steel and Cast Aluminum
Why is it that people perpetuate these rumours knocking home grown products?

Mine is just a regular breech lock (non cast). I started reloading about 5 years ago and bought it because I wanted to make sure I liked re-loading first. I've been using it since and never felt the need to "upgrade". Hell, I even still use a $20 Perfect powder measure.

Thank you for the information. I did NOT get my information from the Internet, I got my information from returning a broken casting for a friend. I was told by RCBS they were having a problem. They mad it right as they always do, RCBS service is top notch. I am thrilled they brought their manufacturing back to the US.
