seafire/B17GTumblers;
For years I have used a Midway, ( Frankfort Arsenal) tumbler. It has never given me a problem until recently. The bowl has a small pin hole in it that is growing ( on the inner part).
The motor has finally started not working here and there, and so it needs to be replaced. I called up Midway and they gave me an RMA to return it for repair etc.
But not wanting to be without a tumbler and also thinking about getting a second one for a long time, I ordered a $45.00 Cabelas Model 400. I was going to wait until that arrived before sending off the Midway one.
Well, MY Surprise is how quiet and smooth the Cabelas one is. At the same price it is a much nicer one than the Midway one is. It is also a lot easier to load and unload.
The Midway has given good service, and will be repaired and reused when I get it back. However if someone had to get a tumbler and wanted a little advise, I would have to recommend the Cabelas model over the Midway. I may sell the Midway one when it is returned and put the money toward a second Cabelas tumbler. I am pretty please with it.
Cheers and good tumbling, lol

new_guyI've had my rcbs tumbler for 20-years. at about 10-years, the motor played out... sent it back to rcbs and they sent it back repaired.
It's been running fine since (but mine is in the garage-so noise is not a concern)

vapodogThe difference is the changes made over the years....they're all made by one company and sold thru many distributors like Midway, RCBS, Dillon etc.
