Velocity is already there at 75.5 so I would be pleased if one of the other loads groups well.

This was the group with 77 grains: (A)the wind was horrible (B)I am a shitty shot or (C) I broke my sons rifle. Hopefully one of the other charges is better.

RMiller, i see you went a little hotter than listed on alliant website for nosler 180Sp, did you see any signs of pressure at all on your hotter ones? just wondering, i didnt make it to the range this past weekend like i had hoped to and have loaded up some 3 shot tests as well. hoping i have good luck as well not finding any pressure signs. Thank you for posting !

The cases looked fine maybe a little scuff marks on the brass. The primers all looked identical. There was another 180 bullet on the alliant page that was just over 77 grains.

yes sir, thats the speer 180 Wink , i was hoping to hear you say no pressure signs at all Smiler i never load to max anyways but with some powders we all know they do better at or near max so thats why my question, velocities are good enough for me. I will be running them through my rem 700 bdl seated 20k off the lands at 3.910 using comparitor, thank you again for the info!

Fired some groups tonight. At least now I don't think I broke my sons rifle anymore 2020.

The charge weights are on the targets. I fired all of these and 4 from my 300 ultra in 30 minutes. I was trying to keep 1 minute between shots.

I thought the first one was going to be the best because I was seeing double on target 2 and target 3 was just a big black blob. LOL.

I seriously doubt that pressue will be a problem with RL-22, 23, or 25, load density is pretty much a full case, and most books today play it safe because of frivolous law suits.
