RWS Brass/.300 Win.mag.
Could anybody comment on RWS brass? How does it compare to Lapua brass? Is the neck wall thickness even all around? What is the water capacity of .300 Win.mag. RWS brass?
Thank you,
Jim

I use Lapua brass for my 300 Win and RWS for one of my 270s. They are by far head and shoulders above the best of the rest (Norma). The neck thickness in RWS appears more than Norma, but very concentric. I have nothing to compare the Lapua with and have not done a capacity check.

My recommendation is to buy as much RWS as you can get your hands on (suplies tend to wax/wane). Lapua is easier to get, but sadly in so few chamberings.

There are two types of people in the world: those that get things done and those who make excuses. There are no others.

I use RWS brass for my .338x74K. It's much more durable than Norma. I also have some in .4.4jeffery, very nice brass, IMO equal to Lapua.

Guys,
Natchez has a sale on their RWS brass that runs till April 30, 2007.
Considering the cost of .375 H&H brass these days RWS is not that bad.
