10MM Hunting Load Suggestion?

Greetings, Looking for a hunting load for deer/hogs? Thinking of using the 180 XTP or a 200 grain bullet (undecided which one). Needed a powder suggestion thinking maybe Longshot? Any suggestions or am I heading in the right direction. Thanks Esox357.

AA #9 or VV N350 will get you to 1300fps with (book) max loads with the 180 gr.. Use a 22# spring (if you haven't already). Some people go above book max loads. I would suggest you find the most accurate.

I have pushed Longshot and AA#9 as hard as they will go in 10mm 200 gr and they are not as good for power as 800X.

800X is a pain to meter, and you might end up weighing every charge.

Esox, I took a buck recently with a 200gr XTP and 11.2 gr of 2400. Thats just a plain-jane load but it did a great job on the deer.
