bartsche.358 x .404 IMP-- Dp 7383
In case there is any interest!
Retested 82gr. DP 7383 behind a 250grain PSP. in my .358 X .404 IMP.

All powder burned. Not much soot , no pressure signs, velocity avg. about 2850 ft./sec.
Although the accuracy at 300 and 400 yds seamed good , the rifle's performance was not indicated closely as my flinching was indeed a handicap.

With a 4350 or a 4831 the 250grain bullet can do 3100 fps with no pressure sign but there is a noticeable increase in recoil.

ramrod340Glad it working out for you. Sure sounds like it could get the job done. My old body doesn't like that kind of punishment any longer.

Hear you load and clear!!! I let 3 other guys take a shoot. They were a little younger than I but would not take a second shot . Even with my home grown muzzle brake there was significant recoil with on the bench position.
