what powder is equal
does anyone know what powders are = or close to S335 trying to find loads for 8x68s and with 160 hv gs customs they say s335 trying to decide what would be best

sorry the powder i am trying to find == is s365 not s335 any help will be usefull

Somchem data shows IMR 4350- and RL-19 as having burn rates comparable to S365. Their loads for 8x68S shows 180 and 200-grain "X" bullets (which would be closer to GS than regular bullets). Up to 69.8 grains for 180 grain "X" and up to 65.9 mgrains for 200-grain "X", both with S365.

Cartridges Of The World shows 150 SP and IMR 4350 @ 73.5 grains (factory load). Also 170 SP and IMR 4350 @ 72 grains (factory load). Hornady data for both. My own Hornady book shows they are both listed as "max".

I think you could start at 70 grains RL-19 or IMR 4350 (or S365) and work up.

thanks for info i am back for a day and will start at 70 grains and see what happens. it seems like 4350 will just about work in anything
