Loading tools and equipment
Gentlemen,

my huntingmates and I are going to buy a handloading equipment - press, scale, powder measure, case lathe (?), dies et c.
Which brand do you recommend? There is a Lee kit to a rather reasonable price, but what about the quality? Lyman, Hornady, RCBS? We are not able to put a fortune ito the equipment and are only going to load standard calibres.

Best regards,

Fritz K.

I'd suggest getting either the rcbs rockchucker master reloading kit or the lyman crusher II kit then get lee dies in the calibers you need along with a set of dial calipers. The lee kits are okay except for the presses, that's where they fall short. You need a good solid press and Lee makes theirs out of potmetal, I've broken two of them. Get either the rcbs or lyman kit.

There are about 35 posts on this subject not far down the page under the topic equipment.
In short the Lee anniversary kit with Lee deluxe die set will fulfill your needs for years to come, my 308 shoots 1/2 moa and my 223 shoots 3/4 moa (I'm working on that one) with this equipment.

Regards

Ray

Thanks Ray,

Ive taken a look under "equipment". However, Ive have not become wiser of reading, because people disagree in a quite fascinating manner. But I think we can start with a Lee Anniversary as we are not going to form new cases and so you said!

Best regards,

Fritz
