T300WbyMagHornady 270cal 130gr bullets--- 270Wby
Was wondering if anyone has tried Hornady # 2730 130gr bullets in their 270Wby?? Accuracy? Performance?
Thanks!!!!!!
I shot quite a bit of the siearra 140 and 150's through my 270 wby, they worked fine.
The Hornandy must be alright in the caliber as Weatherby offers factory ammo for the 270 wby loaded with it at a listed velocity of 3375 fps.
In all my other guns Hornandy bullets are amoung the most accurate bullet.

<DuaneinND>I haven't used them in the 270 weatherby, but I have used them in a 270AI, with good results. The bullet is fairly "tough", and seems to penetrate real well.
A buddy uses the Weatherby .270/130 grain factory ammo exclusively, and the bullets look to have the familiar Hornady spire point shape. They sure work well in his rifle.
