Loads for the 44 Vetterli center fire!
Roll EyesFor those who can use it! flame
44 Vetterli Rifle open sights. Wind gusting up to 30MPH.
  • 310 grain cast bullet
  • .348 reformed brass
  • #34 primers
  • OAL=2.222"
    wave
  • 12 grains Trail Boss * Some soot , Mild 2.00" group 10 shots at 50 yds.
  • 13 grains blue dot, mild sooty great at 200 yds. About a 5" group, 12 shots.
  • 20 grains 4759, Did just fine on a 300 yard Ram.
    The three loads were guessed to be from 1050 to 1250 fps. The batteries on my Oehler went south. It is MHO that someone with better eye sight Then I would have done much better. FUN GUN.

    I have one in my possession . It is still a rim fire.
    I am still thinkin about it.

    I local guy has one that I have considered buying.
    Then I have to find a laminated stock and a mount for a 30MM scope. hilbily
