Same rifle - different ammo
It appears that my M70 Classic likes the Rem Express 130gr Core-lokt factory ammo. Below is an example of it compared to Federal 130 gr Sierra Game King factory stuff. Any idea what else might shoot similar/better than the 130gr Core-Lokt? So far I've tried PMC 130/150, Win 130/150PP, Hdy SST and nothing is coming close to the 130 CLs. The next runner up was the Rem 130 gr Bronze Points. BTW - I'm not reloading yet so I'll be stuck with the factory gun/ammo for the time being...

In the Hornady SST were you using the 'Custom Load' or the 'Light Magnum'? The 'Custom Load' has worked very good in friends 270's. Also, you may want to try the 140 grain SST 'Custom Load'. Also very accurate in friends 270's.
