Michael_MIMR 700X powder for 44 mag
I have some IMR 700x powder that I use for reloading shotgun shells. I also know it can be used to load light pistol loads. I want to load my 44 magnum with it. I will only use the ammo for target shooting so I dont need high velocity. 1100-1200fps is fine. I need loading data for JSP or lead bullets. The range I shoot at does not allow JHP bullets. I only found data for 6 loads at IMR's website. Can anyone help me out?

fredj338700-X is a very fast pistol powder. You didn't say what weight bullet, but I assume 240gr.

This IMR data is pushing the pressures just to get to 1100fps+. I would drop to 9.0gr for a jacketed or plated bullet. I prefer something a bit slower that fills more of the case, but if you have the powder & want to use it up, have a go.
