M34 Primers
I have a box of M34 primers. The box is marked "M34 for the 7.62".

I bought them a few years ago when there was shortage and thses hit the commercial market. I believe they are CCI 200s.

Has anyone used them and are they CCI 200's?

Thanks

coffeeA number of us have been using them with good results for some time now. However, we have discovered that some rifles have firing pin strikes that are too weak to ignite that primer. holycowroger

That means they are Designed to reduce the possibility of Slam-Fires in Automatics and Semi-Automatics.

I do like my Hunting Rifles to have enough Firing Pin Impact to set them off, but that much whamming can be a detriment to l-o-n-g range or benchrest accuracy.

Try 3-5 before you load up a bunch and make sure they are Seated to the bottom of the Primer Pocket.

Best of luck to you.
