<Mads>Wood-Nosler
Wood-Noslers?
Do you know a bullet called Wood-Nosler?
A good friend of mine just got a pack of .308 170 grains Wood-Noslers.
Since the pack say that they are Solid Base bullets, and they look like plain round nose with pleanty lead exsposed - I guees that they are just a old Nosler bullet intended for use in close woods and so?
Have old can they be? I can't find any bullet that is called that name or look like that in my Noslers books and brochures.
Have do they behave on game?
Regards
Mads

BigIronNosler makes a round nose 170 grain .308 Partition bullet designed for the 30-30 and woods ranges. Perhaps that's where the wood-Nosler comes from.
I'd expect good results in most .30 cartridges with it.

<Martin BN>Its not a partition because the bottom is "closed". I have not tried to cut one of them open, but will.
