Lhook7Ballistic Software Recommendations?
Does anyone have any recommendations for ballistic/handloading software? I did a search and can't find any recent posts; the older posts recommend Quick Load.

The DaneDont do that!
Buy umpteen reloading books and start guestimating from there, then shoot till you're blue in the face and the component suppliers are rich.
That's the way grandpa did it and nothing has changed execpt those new fangled corossion free primers.

How did QL change that?

OK maybe I've cut down on the number of powders. I do now work up pretty much one load per rifle. Instead of heavy bullets, light bullets varmint etc.
I'm still trying to get back all that velocity my Chrony cost me.

As usual just my $.02

Andre MertensI'm using Ballistic Explorer since years and with complete satisfaction. BTW, I discovered that some ammo manufacturers, icl. Norma in Sweden did use this software in their laboratory.

3 shots do not make a group, they show a point of aim or impact.
5 shots are a group.
