Herters Pistol Measure. Anyone got a 2" tube :-)

Kevin RohrerAre you sure it's not 3" in diameter?
Either way, do an online search for "plastic tubing". The 3" tubing used in modern measures is commercially made, and 2" should be available.

SR4759PVC is way more chemically resistant than acrylic.
Lexan is tough but chemicals eat it for lunch.

richjWhat about static? It's 2". Mcmaster has 6 ft for $25. that should last me 25 years.

SR4759Static?
Get the black PVC intended for sewer. It might have carbon black in it. It would make for less static. So will washing it in Dawn soap.
If static is a big deal make it out of metal tubing.
If you use plastic like PVC you might get a sheet of brass shim stock and cut it so when rolled it will fit your tube.
HMM I think I will try that myself.
PVC sewer pipe is available at any hardware store cheaper than McMaster.
