mel160Finding Bronze Points
Does anyone have 270 cal. - 130 grs bronze Point (BP) bullets or any information where I might be able to locate them?
If found what is the cost?

CherokeeThe 2003 Remington catalog still lists them. I believe most any gunshop that stocks reloading supplies could order some in for you. Unsure as to pricing.

Scout Master 54I got my last stash of Bronze Points from Midway, they are good about getting any thing you want just by asking. I have had excellent results from the Bronze points, on par with the Nosler B-Tip.

Alaska Bush ManI suggest to go with the Nosler BT rather than the Rem Bronze Tip Flat Base. The Nosler is a Boat Tail and should prove a little flatter shooting at the longer ranges.

mel160Let me just say that the 450-550 yard shots with the bronze tips... animals don't go anywhere.
They are tremendous in extreme weather, they stay true and when they hit, they hit with a force.
This is why I look for them whenever possible.

Scout Master 54Sure BP's have a flat base but the diffrence between them and a BT isn't very noticable until you get way, way out there. I keep my shots under 300 yds any way. I have always found the BP a superb preformer on game.
