338vtNew Ace?
Two things
First,
Just killed my sixth cat with an automobile. Dose this make me an ace?
Second,
This morning I noticed a crat had walk all over my wifes car, and of corse it left wet muddy paw prints everywhere. So today when I got home from work I set about tring I locate and dispatch said vermin. Nothing has showed up yet. I think I'll warm her car up. Maybe the heat will draw it in?
Getting Sneeky,

DigitalDanActually, it only takes 5 to be an Ace, so you're on the way to double Acedom!

120mmS.T.A.N. (stands for, Shit, That Ain't Nuthin...)
By the time I graduated college, (I was commuting the 110 miles there and back, in a 1970 Chrysler station wagon, black, of course) I had amassed 67 road kills. Of course, I was doing the commute, one way, in a little more than an hour. (okay, do the math, one 440 c.i.d. powered Chrysler, weighing 6600 pounds, and doing an average of around 100 mph....) Well, combine an 18 year old farm kid, a very large and powerful automobile, and high speeds, and just about everything in front of you gets a decent chance of dying.
I only feel bad about the litter of puppies, as a group of kids were playing with them on the side of the road, and one of the kids threw a stick the wrong direction, and, well, just use your imagination.
However, a good 20 of those targets were our beloved cats. My buddy and I started painting silhouettes on the driver side door, until we realized that really didn't help our chances with girls.
Oh, well, it's pretty good for a beginner....

DigitalDanSorry 338vt, it says b.f.e. I naturally assumed that was Bum Fun Egypt. Well, whatever state you're in I know it's not Confusion, or you wouldn't be here at the Crat Forum. Popular opinion has it that there is still room here in the Windy state. We have LOTS of crats BTW.

butchlocabsolutely not. car kills only count as practice. to become a full fledged ace you must kill at least 100 with at least 25 different guns. Now there is something to strive for.

DigitalDanButch, your opinion arrived "frozen from faribault". Sorry, now you will suffer the tyranny of the majority.

Time off for good attitude though.

120mm, someday you'll have to replace the door of your car. Put a good seal coat on the old one and hang it on the wall in the trophy room!

N. S. SherlockBut choc: That's a little brash just jumping in and dismissing vehicle kills as "practice" and making that other ridiculous comment. You do a disservice to the veterans of the cat wars. ned

N. S. SherlockDon't anyone try telling Chuck Yeager his P-51 time was just practice. Or ol' ned & 120mm about vehicles and cats, Why 120 got them 2 at the time, on the job, delivering pizzas!!!! Actually baited the route, and never missed a drive (that he admitted to). I have both a car and a F-150 Grand Slam that I remember fondly. ned

120mmSpeaking of roadkill aces, old Chuck was absolutely peerless. He would wreck a car by driving it off the road to get a critter.
Now there was a real killer.
