I see they galvanized it to prevent rust from the blood spatter.

As with possums you can simply leave the beast in the box while you feed it to fatten it up a little.

I have two friends who get paid by their local councils to hunt feral crats (nice job if you can get it). They mostly use similar traps (unless they stalk the kitties with a 22 LR with a silencer).
