Santa brought me an early Christmas present this morning. Its been colder than normal lately so I've been feeding the titmouses and chickadees extra. Sure enough two days ago I spotted a big gray tom hiding out under the holly bushes waiting to grab the quail that come by for dropped seed. He was in my wire non-pet carrier this morning. An early present in time for giving the gift that means you care. Yeah, about the quail. So mean, hissing and clawing, that he ripped off a couple of claws trying to get me as I put him in the truck for the trip to the county cat collector place. Carol Jean over there put on her cat glove to transfer the gray to her holding cage just in case. He is going to the landfill, where all bad kitties go, on tuesday. N.S.
