Aspen Hill AdventuresReady To Rock
Last weekend I sighted in the old 10/22 with it's new Weaver 3x10 and much improved trigger. Took awhile to get it on the paper with the strong winds that blew through but I can now say it is done and ready for some proper testing.
I will be out of town from Thursday through Monday and hate to lose a weekend of animal control but watch out after that!

DigitalDanAnn, in case you've not tried any, get a box of Winchester PowerPoints for that 10/22. I find them better shooters than a lot of "match" ammo in a variety of guns. Cheaper too. Great big HP's in the front end BTW. KERRRRWHOPPPP!

Critter_KillerI use federal 36 grain 550 round value pack hollow points. they seem to get the job done. they about $8.98 a box at wal-mart.

Aspen Hill AdventuresI think I have those same hollow points too. They have drilled many fine holes through the critters that need thining out. I will look into Danno's recommendation as well. Now that we are getting snow, it will make targeting easier.
I will be adding one of those spotlight attachments to the gun as well as a set of bipods.
