Help me pick a .... UPDATED

stock, please!! Hey folks, I got a mod70 in 243 that I want to restock and would like your suggestions. I will use it mostley for 'yotes. Looks like the H-S is the one.

I got a shooting buddy that has a new Model 70, .280 w/ an H-S wrapped around it.

I'm gonna try to ~~screw~~,~~phock~~,errr,,,,,,,give him a fair price for it.

I voted for the Houge because I have 2 and they feel great in the hand , especaly if wet .

But the H-S Precission is also a great stock.

I got the H-S in "Urban Camo" enroute!!

Next is a scope, woohoo!!

Also went over to check out 35000 (no I did not go through the whole 35) acres worth of lease in a great "Bird" (upland and migratory) area. Was on a tour and asked about whacking 'yotes and other varmints and the tour guide says: "well aahh we don't get asked about that, most of the members just hunt birds." "There are alot of 'yotes and I am not sure about other types of small game." So off on to the next area and when we get there off goes a dog. I along with others saw it take off. He must of known the guide would not let us take him.

So off we go and we didn't get more than a couple hundred yards and I see a rockchuck heading into some irrigation piping. We get to the next stop and I asked the guide if he saw it and, "Oh ya, those things are all over the place. Is that what you want to hunt?" DUH
So we move along and when all is said and done I saw 3 dogs, 2 feral cats and only the one wistle pig. It is still a little cool up here in Washington so I know there will be more.

After I get the 243 built up (couple of weeks) I will load it and the 22-250 up and take care of the infestation problem in central Washington as best as I can!!

I am also getting ready to order up a FoxPro FX3 to help get the dogs out into the crosshairs!
