You may wish to move up to a framing hammer or a roofing hatchet. Thats the equivalent of using a bigger gun.

CDHI'm thinking a 5 lb sledge would be about right...light enough for one handed use on the run but heavy enough for 'red mist'. The short handle makes it a candidate for concealed carry too, so the rodents won't know you are packing until they have exposed themselves during their charge.
Cleanup can be a bitch though.

Hog KillerIf you really want red mist, I have a 14 lb crosspien, that I will sell. Red mist is a sure thing, impact area will be paper thin. Used properly, you can go after anything that walks. Ant to Elephants.

Old Elk HunterI worked at a body shop that used frame straightening machines that had steel rails embedded in the floor. These made good channels for mice to hide in. I'd take the air nozzle and shot it down into the channels and the mice would come out a running. I was ready with the DeVilbis spray gun with bright orange paint. The guys would come in to work in the morning and see these bright orange mice that were have dazed. It only took a quick whack with a body hammer and they were coasters.
Body hammers are a lot lighter than yours but a skilled metal worker could get those mice with one try. The night before Valentines day I switched to bright pink pearl paint. Got to keep them mice color coordinated.

At theaters near you soon!

A growing cult classic certain to be unsullied by Oscar nominations and other pointless claptrap!

I really like offbeat movies like that, dunno why...

I just realized that no one has answered this question!
To be B&C qualified, the game must be free range. Was the game bagged in the location photographed? The cement floor would strongly suggest the presence of a confining enclosure, thereby making this a 'high fence' game ranch. Now if you can prove that the mouse was acutally free to enter and exit the area at will, it would be taken into consideration.
Next we have to know its dimensions. What constitutes trophy class on a mouse? Number of whiskers? Claw length? Tail length?
I leave the questions open for my esteemed collegues. Suggestions are welcome...we might start a whole new trophy system here guys and gals!
